Bug Description

Binary package hint: dfu-util

Flashing an Openmoko Freerunner does not work any more on Karmic 64-bit architecture. I have tried the old 32-bit version, another one from Karmic repo and a home brown from openmoko svn, but all fail.

As indicated here
  http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/Flashing_the_Neo_FreeRunner
I get this error
  dfu_download error -62
which is related to 64-bit architecture.

I have also tried:
  $ sudo apt-get install libusb-dev autogen pkg-config autotools-dev autoconf automake
  $ svn co https://svn.openmoko.org/trunk/src/host/dfu-util/
  $ cd dfu-util
  $ ./autogen.sh
  $ ./configure
  $ make
All goes well but run-time I get the same error.

Can someone verify this behaviour with (perhaps another device) on 64-bit system with Karmic?

When verified, can someone fix the source code of dfu-util and offer an updated package in Ubuntu repositories?

Thanks,

Pander
