.exe files opens with Archive Manager instead of Wine

Binary package hint: wine

I just installed Ubuntu 9.10 "Karmic Koala".
When I double-click on an .exe file, it tries to open it with the Archive Manager, instead of Wine.

I'm still getting this in a new installation of Lucid.
Wine is installed.

As a temporary workaround you can right-click on an .exe file and select Properties -> Open With, then switch to Wine.

This is a bad default though, that needs to be fixed.
