Bug Description

Binary package hint: kpackagekit

I just installed the Alpha Kubuntu netbook remix and try to update. Because I miss the menu bar I start kpackagekit with <alt>-<f2>. After I select "software updates" -> "Select all updates" -> "OK" some windows pop up, it seems to do something and then decides to close without appliing the updated packages. I have attached a log created from stderr while doing the same with "sudo kpackagekit".

Your KPackagekit seems to be very old. Try updating it to the latest version available. (The one you have appears to be from 9.10)

Changed in kpackagekit (Ubuntu):
