Bug Description

When displaying dvi files Okular and kdvi show empty boxes instead of eps pictures (inserted by \includegraphics command in tex source). According to the programs' sources they use gs to rasterize eps to show the resulting png. The program xgdvi also cannot show eps and reports unrecoverable error of GS 8.70. Debian testing works properly with the same dvi and eps files.

There is a similar bug report http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/18145 ([evince] does not display images in .dvi file). But for me, in Ubuntu evince works fine; other dvi previewers fail.

This is a bug in Kdvi and Okular, not related to ghostscript. The problem appears when the path to eps-file contains non-latin letters. The temporary ps-files, which Kdvi and Okular produce for rasterizing, contain paths to eps-files with `?' instead of non-latin letters.
