el sistema se congela cuando oprimo enter o intro

en cuanto oprimo enter o intro se congela el sistema y no responde. aparece en el lado superior de la pantalla como un cursor que parpadea como si fuera una terminal.

Antes que nada, muchas gracias por ayudarnos a mejorar Ubuntu reportando el bug.
No me queda claro como reproducir el bug.
Podrías indicarnos cuales son los pasos precisos para reproducir el bug, así lo confirmamos y seguimos investigando sobre el mismo.
