Easyubuntu does not handle sources.list correctly

Bug Description

1. Easy ubuntu fails to recognize that additional repositories (multiverse, plf etc) are already present in the sources.list and provides the option to enable it every time the program is run

2. Easy ubuntu adds a single # before the original sources line in sources.list. This causes package management programs in dapper to give out error message about duplicate sources whenever update is run.

sources.list modified by easyubuntu uses only one only one hash causing package management programs to spew out error msgs about duplicate sources

Easyubuntu repeatedly gives the option to enable extra repositories even after they have been added to souces.list

Are you sure about an error being caused due to duplicate entries in sources.list? There's already a function to "unduplicate it". Please confirm the bug if this is true.

Same problem with current / nightly build version.

The screen that pop ups for the password looks abnormally long in the SVN version. Just thought of alerting you guys on that. Feel free to delete this attachment

Checked out to see if the nightly builds or the svn version are any different but they too turned out negative. Relevant screen shots added to the bug report.

I had edited sources.list earlier using www.ubuntuguide.org and u can see it in the sources.list attachment. Duplicate source errors started after I ran easyubuntu (and chose to enable additional repositories). It was easy to correct, but a noob would have got lost

There are so many backup versions of sources.list that I'm no longer sure which one is the original. Mail me a copy of the sources.list that comes with a stock ubuntu installation, if that needs to be checked out

PS: And thanks for easyubuntu guys :), it really saves a lot of explaining that was otherwise required before giving a copy of Ubuntu to a newbie.

it is too difficult to implement checks for configuration performed. However, easyubuntu should not be adding it's sources.list over and over again (if this occurs again, please reopen the bug)
