evolution can not empty trash

Bug Description

Binary package hint: evolution

"Empty Trash" results in message "Error while expunging folder". No messages are deleted and continue to build up in the Trash uncontrollably.

Using Ubuntu 9.10 with Evolution 2.28.1-0ubuntu2
