Bug Description
Binary package hint: plymouth
When Plymouth is installed on my system, once booting reaches the GDM screen GDM hangs. Alt-Shift-SysRq-K restarts GDM and login then continues normally.
This did not occur directly after install from the alternate cd image dated 2010-02-15, but next boot after installing all updates ended up here.
Also at boot once the GDM screen is loaded on my system it is totally garbled - a console switch and then returning to the GDM console fixes the issues.
