Bug Description

Binary package hint: base-installer

I tried to install ubuntu on my PC, I used the installer on the live CD to install the system. Everything went smoothly till the installer got stucked at apt setup. I tried to list the current running processes and I saw wget among them. I am not connected to the internet and I need an extra package (pptp-linux) to install in order to connect to the internet. I waited 20 mints without a response from the installer till I had to kill it.
