Installer crashed while installing on SATA drive with XFS filesystem

After installing the language packs the installer crashed.
I am using an AMD64 Version of Ubuntu. Disk controller is the Nvidia nforce4 chip. Harddisk is a new Samsung Spinpoint SATA2 drive.

There are no suspicious messages in the syslog and the following modules were loaded:

I think the Problem might be here:

Rebooting into Ubuntu works if there is a boot-manager installed and you know what you're doing. Currently i cannot say if everything is ok, I'll have to test it further now.
