Bug Description
Binary package hint: gringotts
I have Gringotts installed in Hardy. All the security options under the "security monitor" are enabled and the overall security level is rated "good".
I've just installed Gringotts on Lucid, and I notice that the overall security level is rated "low" because the item "Memory protection from ptrace spying" is coded red. I'm assuming that means that it's not enabled in compilation; please correct me if I'm wrong.
I'm running Lucid on an Asus Eeepc 900 with no swap partition.
Kernek version is 2.6.32-13-generic

Update:
I downloaded the source code of the latest Gringotts from the developer's site and compiled it on my Hardy box. The same problem occurs: "Memory protection from ptrace spying" is marked with a red button, and overall security level is marked "low". There is no configure option to enable or disable this protection.
Therefore, I think we can say that this is an upstream issue.
