emesene is an open source instant messaging client designed for use with Microsoft's .NET messenger service. It is a clone of Windows Live Messenger. emesene is the Spanish pronunciation of MSN, former name of Windows Live Messenger.

Yes, it's in karmic repositories, but I think it needs an update to 1.6.

Emesene was updated to 1.6.1 in Lucid.

@Daniele you can install this versión without make any change for karmic.

emesene_1.6.1-0ubuntu1_all.deb (deb from lucid) can be installed in karmic.
