Hi Plun,

Thanks for reporting this bug. Please could you let us know which versions of Ubuntu and Chromium-browser you are using? You can do this by typing the following commands into a terminal:

apt-cache policy chromium-browser

uname -a

Also, how did you install chromium?

Hi Plun,

It looks like you're using an unofficial and unsupported version of Chromium from the upstream PPA. That's why ubuntu-bug won't let you report the bug automatically.

Please could you try to install the official, supported Ubuntu package by running the following two commands in the terminal:

sudo apt-get purge chromium-browser
sudo apt-get install chromium-browser=5.0.307.7~r38400-0ubuntu1

This should hopefully resolve your problem.

Also, you should remove the ppa line from your /etc/apt/sources.list file if you want to avoid using unsupported versions of packages.

OK... I didn't notice that Ubuntu mozilla-daily also includes this browser.

OK, great :) I'll close this report because it relates to the unsupported package version. Please feel free to reopen it if you experience the same problems with the official Ubuntu package.
