Sound lost after advancing on timeline

Bug Description

During play/preview, when I set timeline at a position other than 00:00:00:000, the sound starts during playback and then disappears.

To align visuals based on audio requires going back to 00:00:00:0000 (playback command "<<").

Linux 2.6.31-20-generic #57-Ubuntu SMP Mon Feb 8 09:02:26 UTC 2010 x86_64 GNU/Linux
