right click on a podcast > basic tab say

newest one shows up are the following

older ones look like this as they should

Are you noticing this issue only with this particular podcast? When does the naming correct itself? After closing and reopening or after next podcast?

I removed a feed, added it back, and download 3 podcast

the feed might be tagged wrong

it looks like the info in the feeds ( xml , rss, etc... ) gets replaced by what info is in the podcast file itself.
I think the old way makes more sense from a users point of view.

Info from podcast file itself should only fill in missing information and not replace what is there
or ask the user how they want to deal with it

fixed in rhythmbox (0.12.6git20100218-0ubuntu1) lucid

but you have remove and re-add podcasts
