"Edit" > "Create New" submenu missing

Konqueror 3.5.2, Ubuntu 6.06

1. Open a Konqueror window.
2. Click "Home Folder".
3. Try to find the menu item for making a new folder.

Apparently this item is supposed to be "Edit" > "Create New" > "Folder". But there is no "Create New" submenu in the "Edit" menu, or anywhere else in the menu bar.

Thanks for the bug report. What release are you on? Can you include a screenshot? I can not reproduce this problem.

As I said, I was using Konqueror 3.5.2 on Ubuntu 6.06. I can reproduce the problem with Konqueror 3.5.5 on Ubuntu 6.10. Screenshot coming...

Matthew, I am guessing that is a Konqueror + GNOME issue, as I don't see it with Kubuntu 6.10 w/ KDE 3.5.5. Take a look at my attachment, that is what it should look like.

Is this still an issue in Feisty and KDE 3.5.7?

It is still an issue with the latest version of Konqueror issued for Ubuntu 7.04, which is 3.5.6 (kdebase 4:3.5.6-0ubuntu20.1).

Is this still a problem on hardy and KDE 3.5.9? I am not able to reproduce this problem.
