Bug Description
Binary package hint: nautilus-actions
Hi. In Ubuntu 9.10 when nothing was selected in a browser window, the nautilus actions where available from the "File" menu of nautilus for the folder that the window was displaying. This was a nice functionality to have because it was possible to select the specific folder from the task menu, unselect any selected files in it and then select the action that was to be applied to the folder. I wonder if this functionality could be re-enabled because it was useful.

Thank you for helping with making Ubuntu and its file manager Nautilus better by reporting this bug. However, this bug has been reporter previously, as bug #488612.
I suspect that this has something to do with bug #506125, which is about 'nautilus- actions- config- tool' crashing anytime you launch it. It could be that the same problem also makes Nautilus actions not work in the context menus. Before we can test this bug #506125 needs to be solved this should be done in 2.29.4. However, 'nautilus-actions' in Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx is only version 2.29.1.
