Bug Description

UEC only supports signature version 1 in the EC2 API. These days many API clients try to use signature version 2 by default. Its pretty easy to support and (IIRC) quite a bit more flexible.

This is a wishlist bug, so perhaps we could document this more widely so that developers don't need to figure it out by trial and error.

SignatureVersion=2 support has been in Eucalyptus since v1.5.2 (for both POST and GET). It is known to work with a number of client tools. If you are using a client which uses SignatureVersion=2 and you are seeing problems more specific information is needed.

thanks.

I'm very sorry I didn't check this one more closely, I've confirmed that v2 is supported on karmic and presumably above.
