In our case stack at: hylafax/ etc/config. ttyS0' and `/etc/hylafax/ config. ttyS0' are the same file
cp: `/var/spool/
dpkg: error processing hylafax-server (--configure):
subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1
We've managed to reconstruct Hylafax server but the apt-installer is stack at that point and not sure even how to force it to believe is installed.
We believe the issue has to do with the bind mount that hylafax does of /etc/hylafax into /var/spool/ hylafax/ etc, we've noticed the init.d script does not umount it correctly.
In any case the script seems to copy files while installing in reverse way from etc at /var/spool. If the hylafax was already installed and that directory exists (if its bind mounted it can no even be deleted) could be causing errors.
