"go to your sources folder, lets say /usr/src/linux
cd include/linux
ln -s ../generated/autoconf.h autoconf.h"

the "sources folder" in case you installed the kernel packages from http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v2.6.33/ is:
/usr/src/linux-headers-2.6.33-020633-generic/
