Bug Description

Binary package hint: python-qt3

If I try to install package python-qt3, I get a unmet dependencies problem. I know I'm using a PPA repository and that it is not guaranteed to work as the stable version, nonetheless I wanted to report this here. Maybe the solution is not very complicated and can be fixed before the 10.04 release.

Below I send the results of related commands at the terminal. I will also attach my sources.list.

$ sudo apt-get install python-qt3

After today's dist-upgrade with the new KDE 4.4 packages, the problem persists (with new version numbers).

Is there some way to install python-qt3?
It's also needed by the package 'mnemosyne'.

There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time this issue has been reported and the problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test the current Ubuntu version (10.04). If you can test it, and it is still an issue, we would appreciate if you could upload updated logs by running "apport-collect 519751", and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.
