Bug Description

Firefox Icon missing after upgrading firefox to version 3.6 on Lucid Alpha2. Also, I have removed the firefox-3.5 meta package and related. After upgrading found that the Firefox launcher in GNOME panel is not showing any icon but the launcher in menu system have proper icon.
Further investigation revealed that the file /usr/share/app-install/desktop/firefox.desktop which is part of app-install-data have "Icon=firefox-3.5" but the menu desktop file has "Icon=firefox".

I have a very similar problem in the final Lucid. I just upgraded today, and in my case, both Gnome panel AND Applications->Internet menu have the default icon-not-found icons.

There's a thread about it on ubuntu forums as well: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=9322472#post9322472
