Binary package hint: acpi

I am having this problem for a long time. I tried all solutions I found. Nothing helped.
I have IBM Lenovo thinkpad X60.

What version of acpi-support? What do you mean by "stuck"?

Version of acpi-support installed: 0.85 (this is ubuntu version)
Stuck - I mean that the computer is still working (its temprature doesn't go down), the screan is blank (but is not turned off), so it's not realy "sleeping". But, most importantly - it can not be waken up. Pressing any key doesn't help. I need to turn it off.
