Bug Description

there are a lot of bug reports for the network manager applet, so forgive me if this is a dup.

What happens:
When I left-click the applet and select "Connect to hidden Wireless Network..." and enter my SSID and my WEP (40/128 bit) key, the connection works fine. However, if I instead right-click the network-manager-applet and choose "Edit Connections..." > Wireless > Add > and enter my connection info, the connection never works.

What I expect to happen:
I expect that if I enter the connection manually through the edit dialog it should also connect. Is it possible that it doesn't connect because the SSID isn't being broadcast? I cannot locate a method to force connections to a non-broadcasting network.
