ubuntuone-client stopped working a while back and still it's not

Sorry to not be more helpful but ubuntu-one client will not connect. I have "apt-get purge"d and re-installed.

OK, well now it *is* working. I cleared the cache on my browser (Chrome) and then I could see the files after login - unlike before. And I stopped the client and restarted after a purge and re-install. But no diagnostic messages! Usability issues abound.
