Hi Bhavani,

Could you check if the CPPFLAGS=-DLDAP_DEPRECATED thing is still required? It comes from Hardy, and heimdal builds fine in my amd64. Also, could you check if the netbase recommends is still useful or not?

Thanks,
Fabrice

Hi,

Just make one more test then: test if the package that has this added dependency on netbase installs and runs fine.
Is it's the case, this could be a sync.

thanks,
Fabrice

This merge didn't happen for lucid, and there's a newer version in Debian now, which should be merged for maverick. Marking this bug won'tfix, as it's not had activity for a couple months, and would benefit from starting over.
