Bug Description

Binary package hint: qtcreator

When trying to start there is no output or display just large CPU usage. This happened after an update yesterday, 4th Feb

The same happens on karmic with qtcreator version 1.3.0-0ubuntu2~karmic1~ppa1.

just done the latest update (27/02/2010) including lots of Qt4 things, qtcreator still won't start.

just installed a fresh alpha 3 (15/03/2010) installed qtcreator, it still won't start.

seems generating the help collection on startup is causing long delays. workarounds for the moment include either
* disable the help system by running 'qtcreator -noload Help'
or
* leave qtcreator running until the help collection has finished generating (may take several minutes. the next start should then no longer have a delay
