Bug Description
Binary package hint: pidgin
I'm using ubuntu 9.10 which is my primary PC. Let's say I forgot to logout of Pidgin at work and went home. At home, I then log into sametime from my secondary PC, which is a windows laptop, it does not automatically log me out of my Pidgin session at work. At this point, I'm logged into the sametime server from both PCs. New messages can be sent from both clients and received by the intended buddy but only my Pidgin session at work will receive all responses. If I send a message from home, work receives any response. This is obviously an issue when PCs are in vastly different locations. I believe the norm is for new sametime server sessions to logout existing sessions.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Do you get the same with Lucid or Maverick? Thanks in advance.
