Bug Description

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

At every start of the player there are a significant number of "import errors" reported. Ok, I understand that the player rescans the folder, which is set in the preferences for the library folder of your music but if I remove all reported files, the next time the player is started the same files are reported again.

I think that Rhythmbox should remember, which files have been already removed from the "Import Errors" section.

Thanks for the report, may you get a rhythmbox log by running rhythmbox as: rhythmbox --debug &> rhythmbox-debug.txt ; reproduce the issue and attach that resulting log file to the report? Thanks in advance.

And because I am not absolutely sure if you understand what I said... I mean that I removed the files in the player's "Import Errors" section with "but if I remove all reported files, the next time the player is started the same files are reported again". I didn't mean that I physically deleted the files on the HDD. (:

And sorry if this message is more like a spam message because maybe there is not much relevant information in it.

Thanks for the report, it has been some time without any response or feedback in this bug report and we are wondering if this is still an issue for you with the latest release of Ubuntu the Natty Narwhal, May you please test with that version and comment back if you're still having or not the issue? Please have a look at http://www.ubuntu.com/download to know how to install that version. Thanks in advance.
