Bug Description
Binary package hint: usplash

The computer is a Duron 1.3GHz, with 512MB of memory, with 16MB of memory shared with video. The video card is a SiS 630/730 and the monitor is a SyncMaster 540N. I am using xserver-
If any further information is desired, please let me know.

As can be seen from the usplash.conf file, the contents there set a resolution of 1024x768 and this is right with the monitor (this is my old monitor, which I used with an intel 865G before, without any problems).
