The custom versions of the packages are debug versions I built to get the backtraces.

`reprepro -Vb /srv/gnewsense/ checkpool` results in the attached backtraces.

Its highly probably this issue is already resolved in later versions of reprepro and/or libdb (reprepro checkpool certainly works for me). Would it be possible for you to test this with reprepro and libdb from a newer version of Ubuntu?

Not easily. I can copy db files to a new host, but this is the primary
gNewSense buildd. testing a new version would involve getting a new
100gb xen instance bootstrapped and having all the data copied over.

just a note that i'm running a few of the maintainance options, i'll let you know if that makes the problem 'go away'

`reprepro -Vb /srv/gnewsense/ deleteunreferenced` has been running for 4 days and still going. I might investigate delete+rebuild of db :/
