Evince does not launch Chrome from PDF

Bug Description

Binary package hint: evince

When viewing a PDF with Evince then clicking on a URL I get

Failed to execute child process "/opt/google/chrome/google-chrome" (Permission denied)

Also there is no way to copy the URL out of Evince to be able to use it elsewhere.
