CD driver problem

my cd driver is not working at all when ever i put a cd inside it is not working at all.
i already reported this problems but the answer was not so clear for me because i am not so good in ubuntu yet so please slowly with me

i just want my driver working as soon as possible because i have a lot to do with some cd's

the message i have each time i insert a cd is: Unable to mount location can't mount file.
