Bug Description

Binary package hint: tremulous

When loading tremulous, it starts, darklegions splash comes up and then it drops to a tremulous terminal. Please see attached photo.

Have just upgraded from karmic to lucid. Worked fine in karmic.

I have exactly the same problems as Jussi above. So this bug is still present as of the 12 April.

I have the same issue on ubuntu 10.04 amd 64, tremulous 1.1.0-4.1build1, NVIDIA Driver Version 195.36.15

The same bug.

Also, same bug hits a (not packaged) game UrbanTerror, also based on same/similar engine, and the solution is to manually install a newer ioq3 engine client.

Work around for Tremulous is probably to manually install something similar (if you have the official URL then please post).

So, probably tremulous needs repacking with an upgraded client.

I had the same problem in Ubuntu 10.04. The solution for me was to install from the installer on the site <a href="http://tremulous.net/files/">http://tremulous.net/files/</a>, rather than through the package manager.
