while installing ubuntu koala the 4th step does not match. It is inactive and i read in french : aucun systeme de fichier n'a été choisi comme racine veuillez corriger cela à partir du menu de partitionnement. Que faire avec gparted.

While installing Karmic Koala in a new support (SDA 500 GO) the installation stops at the fourth step and don't accept formating the HD. The step is inactive and when I push the key "next" the answer is (in french) : "aucun système de fichier n'a été choisi comme racine veuillez corriger cela à partir du menu de partitionnement"
What can I do?

Quelle option d'installation a tu choisi ?
Utiliser tout le disque , ou définir les partitions manuellement ?

Dans le cas d'un partitionage manuel, a tu bien choisi une partition avec le point de montage "/" ? C'est la racine du disque et apparement c'est ce qui cause le problème.

Dans le cas ou tu aurais choisi un partitionement automatique (utiliser le disque entier), ce pourrai être un bug.

Merci pour ta réponse. Je crois que c'est un bug car j'ai pu installer
sans pb Intrepid Ibex.
Je commence tjs par une install automatique pour voir comment le système
se répartit. Pour réinstaller ensuite avec un /home séparé.
Je vais demander un autre disque d'install de Koala.
