I had the same problem with my Thinkpad x100e.
I removed
-DENABLE_ LPS \ Makefile
Line 55 in ./HAL/rtl8192/
Now my wlan is stable.
I still have to investigate what LPS makes exactly, but I think its some kind of power saving option.
