Bug Description

Binary package hint: plasma-widget-networkmanagement

In Ubuntu 9.10 x86 knetworkmanager displays interface wmx0 grouped with eth0, i.e. it thinks it is a wired connection, but wmx0 is WiMax NIC. It should be displayed as Wireless type.

I do not own that Wimax device anymore for quite some time since I've posted this bug. Moreover, the corresponding Wimax network in Russia will cease to exist in less than a month (all hail LTE). That's why I suggest that this issue is to be marked as "Won't fix" unless someone else is really concerned about it.
