Bug Description

I noticed that the "open" and "open with..." icons need higher resolution as can be seen when I use gnome-do and type "open". The icons come out very blurry, most other icons look fine though.

It isnt really clear which icon you are referring to...
In nautilus , The "open" and "open with" options use the application icons , which aernt part of breathe.

Could you add a screenshot of the icons you are referring to?
[alternatively , you could point to the icons n question by browsing the /usr/share/icons/Breathe/ folder]

Yes, it's fileopen.png and Breathe falls back on human since it doesn't have the icon. But I noticed that Breathe has folderopen.png, so why not include a fileopen.png with better resolution? Or at least, if you want to fall back on a different theme, rather fall back on humanity than human. Humanity has much better resolutions.

Right , human theme has been moved to universe and it wont be in the default install anymore.

We should consider changing the inherits to humanity which is now the default.

@Bernhard :
Could you also post a screenshot of the problem , so we might understand better the problem and consider adding an icon in breathe itself?

Sure, it's just that I cannot take a screenshot of gnome-do (it disappears, or do you know how to do it?), to reproduce:

1) install gnome-do and use breathe icon theme
2) summon gnome-do and type "open"

and you see the icon I mean (fileopen.png). I can post a screenshot of the icon, but as I said, don't know how to post a screenshot of gnome-do. I noticed that Breathe has lost of the other "file actions", e.g. "reveal file in folder", "move file", and so on, but not this "fileopen.png".

Oh, btw: similar problem is with things like "gtk-about.png" and "gtk-quit.png". There are a lot of icons in /usr/share/icons/Human/16x16/actions which have only this minimal resolution. In any case, most of these problems would be solved if you just use Humanity as fallback.

@Bernard: Hmm.. . [gnome-do always crashed for me :( ,havent tried it recently though ]
But , to take screenshots of gnome-do ,
- Applications > Accessories > Take Screenshot , in the dialogue window set "Grab after a delay of _ seconds" to 3 secs
- select "take screenshot"
- Now summon gnome-do

Now , you should have enough time to take screenshot. else just use a different delay

Yeah, maybe I should have had that timer idea myself: here are two screenshots that demonstrate the issue.

Will this still be fixed for lucid? Just asking because it's probly an easy fix and breathe icon set is even used for one of the main themes (forgot which one....).
