Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity

It was brought to our attention that the new version "Desktop CD" does not provide any boot loader options. The problem is your default installs GRUB in to the MBR / EMBR and can corrupt and loose peoples data. If you'd like to add in support to check for BootIt and/or the EMBR, you can do so and then move your installation of GRUB to the root partition. You only need to look for the "EMBR" signature at lba 1 or 2 and/or for "BootIt" or "EMBRI"
in the MBR.
