Bug Description
For the last two editions of Kubuntu my means of getting online, with Mobile Broadband dongles (first Vodafone, then T-mobile, but also '3' which I had briefly) has been impossible. I set up the connection with the same settings as I'd use in Gnome's Network Manager, but when I want to click on the then-generated icon to connect, nothing happens, it's as if it's a dead icon, doesn't link to anything. Same for 9.04 and 9.10.
Linux Mint's KDE version seems to know about this, as it seems to use Gnome's Network Manager instead of the usual KDE version.
This and the other thing I'm reporting are the only things stopping me using Kubuntu on my 3 machines, so I'll be pleased to see this resolved. Many thanks.
