Cannot update without error: 'package luatex 0.40.5 failed to install' following upgrade to 9.10

System update does not complete without displaying the above error. Only occurred following upgrade to 9.10 from 9.04. Will supply any further information upon request, though not sure where to start or what else I can provide at this stage.

I do not have that file in the tmp directory, but i do have these:

fmtutil.NyubSGK3
fmtutil.yiHZGKkM

Are they any good for you?

Incidentally, just ran update manager again and the following error appeared:

E: luatex: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1
