Ubuntu One Client will not connect and stay connected - It Does not sync.

What I expect to happen:
1. Ubuntu One Client connects and stays connected when I log into Ubuntu.
2. The Cloud Icon Appears 'lit up and white and puffy looking' signaling that Ubuntu One is connected. It remains that way. (The Preference IS set to "Show Icon = Always"
3. When the Ubuntu One local Shared Directory is opened /home/#######/Ubuntu One/ The connection button along the top shows that Ubuntu One is Connected.
4. Files placed into the directory are synced up with the Ubuntu One Cloud and the user is notified that the sync is happening and has taken place.
5. Logging into the Ubuntu One website shows the file that was placed in the local Ubuntu One directory.
6. Ubuntu One remains connected unless manually disconnected.
7. When Ubuntu is rebooted, Ubuntu One is started again when Ubuntu restarts (The Preference IS set to Connect on Start = automatically)

What Actually Happens:
1. When Ubuntu boots up, the Ubuntu One icon shows up in the system tray however it does not connect and the cloud is gray with an exclamation point in it.
2. Left Clicking on the Cloud and selecting connect, the cloud momentarily lights up and changes white and then returns to the gray state with the exclamation point.
3. Opening the Ubuntu One local Shared Directory /home/#######/Ubuntu One/ displays the directory with the Ubuntu One File Sharing Banner at the top with the button that says Connect.
4. Clicking on the Connect Button, the button momentarily changes to "Connecting" and the returns to "Connect"
5. Placing a new file in the directory without Ubuntu One connected a notification appears that says files are being synced with Ubuntu One. A green check appears on the file. There is no sign on the Ubuntu One icon that shows it is connected or connecting.
6. Logging into the Ubuntu One website, the new file does NOT appear.

This worked. Thank you.

I made the changes to the file /.config/ubuntuone/syncdaemon.conf suggested in FAQ # 835 as recommended. And restarted the Ubuntu One client. I went through the test I had previously where it was failing and everything works as expected. Thank you very much. Is this a known bug that is fixed in a future release or is will it just be handled by the workaround described in the FAQ?

Thank you again Dave for your help in resolving the issue.
