Strange behavior of tabs for multiple open files in KHexEdit

Bug Description

Try to open KHexEdit with more than one file simultaneously:
# khexedit file1 file2

The editor should start up with both files opened in tabs. Now click on the tabs to change the file you are editing. Repeat this a few times. New tabs will be added to the currently open tabs.

Expected behavior: no new tabs, but only change to the selected file.

I don't see any tabs, I just get multiple entries under the `Documents' menu. How did you enable the tabs?

~/.kde/share/config/khexeditrc, section [General Options]:
TabBarPosition=1

Alternatively, select it from the menu: Settings->Document Tabs->Above Editor.
(I'm using the German locale, no idea whether I translated it correctly.)

After using KHexEdit for several months, I don't know how I missed this feature. And yes, it's buggy. Buggy to the point of uselessness.

This feature doesn't exist in Okteta (the KDE 4 replacement of KHexEdit) anymore, so I am closing the bug .... It only took us > 2 years to come to the conclusion that the bug is a won't fix ;-)
