firefox 3.5.7 renders Launchpad pages incorrectly

FF 3.5.7 in karmic renders the Launchpad pages incorrectly for me. Not sure if this is a problem on my end, with Launchpad HTML or the FF browser.

Take a look at the attached screenshot and you will see that the status box is positioned on the right lower end of the screen when it should be positioned at the right upper end. This gets problematic for pages with lots of comments expecially.

This seems to be related to whether or not the window is maximized (not full-screen). Everything is OK in a normal window, but a maximized window exhibits this behaviour. Starting firefox in safe-mode (firefox -safe-mode) with extensions leads to the same result.
