i cannot access any accounts
when i try to log in it will show "Network error"

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy. Please feel free to report any other bugs you may find.

Thanks for the bug report. If you are still facing this can you please attach the empathy debug log. to do so click on Help>debug and click on the save button to save the log to a file and then attach that file here.

Would someone having this problem please upgrade libpurple0 from my PPA at https://edge.launchpad.net/~bcurtiswx/+archive/ppa
