Bug Description
Binary package hint: ubiquity
I am attempting to test our standard scenario for a dual boot configuration with 10.04 Alpha 2, and have run into a new show stopper bug.
As you can see from the screen capture, Windows is installed to the front of the drive on two partitions: OS and Data.
I am trying to create a 200MB /boot partition as Ext4, then / and /home as XFS partitions.
I click OK on the dialog, and the installer screen flashes briefly, then it appears as if nothing happened. No additional partitions are in the list.
This process has been working fine with Ubuntu now for several versions. This is a new issue with 10.04 Alpha 2.

I backed up a couple of screens and was able to complete the install via the "use the largest continuous free space" option during partitioning.
Manual partitioning was impossible. would not accept a larger /boot partition, would not accept a 10G / partition type Ext4, nadda!
Also: Taking the "use the largest..." option, it did not offer to migrate the user settings from the Windows Administrator account. Ubuntu usually makes that offer, which I skip.
