add a new submenu, give it an icon from anther place, say /opt/icons/ (put some icon in that freshly made directory)

Bug Description

Binary package hint: kdebase-workspace

and then it just hangs often, when i try to save, the saving percent repeat from 5 to 95 %, and keep repeating until interrupted by the user.

Ok, please report this to bugs.kde.org since it's a problem with kmenuedit. Closing as it is not a Kubuntu-specific issue.
