I get this error when I put my thinkpad t400 on the doc , which is hooked to a 24" screen. This is a repeatable issue that I can replicate all the time.

This bug occurred here on Ubuntu Netbook 10.10 beta, after some updates today. Didn't appear to be associated with anything. I was running firefox at the time, but it ran without symptoms of any problem.
