Bug Description

Binary package hint: python2.6

I have tried to install server applications nfs & postgresql. Both got the same issue:

useradd: cannot lock /etc/passwd; try again later.

lsof|grep passwd gave me the following:

  python 3007 sneetsher 9u REG 8,1 2015 13316 /etc/passwd

Rebooting the machine, same thing. Kill or Terminating that python process. Still the same error.
