Bug Description
I have a VM called Groundwork running and I was attempting to add additional storage to the guest. I am using LVs as the back-end block devices. I have a 10G LV called Groundwork-Xtra that I'm trying to attach to the VM. Everytime, libvirtd crashes and I have to restart the service from /etc/init.
sudo virsh attach-disk Groundwork /dev/daemion/
Connecting to uri: qemu:///system
error: server closed connection
output in /var/log/messages:
Jan 18 11:14:57 Daemion kernel: [ 1316.160779] type=1505 audit(126384209

Confirmation that libvirt is dead when attempting to run the same command a second time:
sudo virsh attach-disk Groundwork /dev/daemion/ Groundwork- Xtra hdb libvirt/ libvirt- sock': Connection refused
Connecting to uri: qemu:///system
error: unable to connect to '/var/run/
error: failed to connect to the hypervisor
Have to run: /etc/init. d/libvirt- bin stop; /etc/init. d/libvirt- bin start in order to get virsh working again
